Mathematical Mum

Hi blog, today I came up with a Mathematical Mum play, hope you enjoy!

Mathematical Mum

“Okay kids let’s go to mall I heard there is a sale” (Says Mum)

‘’No Mum I’m to bored I don’t want to go to the shops” (Says kid 1)

“Yeah I don’t want to either” (Says kid 2)

“No we are going anyway” (Says Mum).

“Yay, we are at the mall now we will buy some apples for lunch” (Says mum)

Each apple is  2 dollars, lets buy 4 apples, kids how much money are the four apples?”(Says Mum)

“Ummm… so there are 4 so apples & each is 2 dollars, so 4 times 2 equals 8?” (Says 1 Kid)

“Ok, good job (name)! Now we need to buy some shoes”(Says mum)

{CUTSCENE TO NUMBER ONE SHOES}  lol

“Ok, we are here!”(Says mum)

*Groans* (Kids)

{CUT, CONTINUE RECORDING WITH SHOES ON FLOOR (To buy}

“Ok now, choose what shoes you want” (Says Mum)

“Ok, I want these shoes” (Says kid 1)

“And I want these ones” (Says Kid 2)

“So (Kid 1’s name) your shoes are 40 dollars, & (Kid 2’s name) yours is 36 dollars. How much money altogether?” (Says mum)

“So, 40 plus 30 equals 70, then add 6 to make it 76 dollars” (Says kid 2)

“Ok, good job (Kid 2’s name)!”

{CUTSCENE OF PAYING}

“Ok, now we have to buy food!” (Says mum)

“Nooooo! We don’t need food! You buy it & we will wait in the car!” (Both kids)
